Gastroenterology
A sigmoidoscopy is an internal exam of the lower part of the large intestine (colon) using a short, thin, flexible lighted tube. We use high definition scopes to ensure high quality care.
The colonoscopy is performed by a Board Certified Gastroenterologist and lasts approximately 30-60 minutes. Medications will be given into your vein to make you feel relaxed.
